ePIC IMOS is an image capture video camera with onboard computing, motion detection, and communications in a unit the size of a computer mouse. It works in partnership with the ePIC website, where video images taken by the camera are indexed and archived, and can be reviewed from any Internet-connected computer in the world.

ePIC IMOS not only records images, it can communicate with its owner. When the camera’s motion detector captures images, the on-board computer instructs the camera to send a photo email or text message to up to 30 addresses, including cell phones, pagers, and PDA’s.

In addition to being smart, the camera is easy to live with. It can be instantly installed anywhere there is a telephone line…just plug it in to an ordinary telephone jack. It needs no computer or network for operation.

ePIC IMOS and web services are engineered to provide intelligent monitoring, searchable image archiving, and notification functions that CCTV and webcams cannot provide, even at multiples of the cost of ePIC IMOS services.
